Spanish for 'enchantress' and pronounced 'etch-ee-seh-rah', La Hechicera is a solera blend of rums aged between 12 and 21 years in ex-bourbon casks. Founded by the Riascos family, their 'H' logo is formed by with a combination of a praying mantis and the Colombian national flower, the orchid.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber with burnished copper highlights.

Aroma:

Pungent nose with prunes, espresso and cacao. More subtle vanilla, menthol and woody overripe banana.

Taste:

Bitter sweet, bitter chocolate-led palate with warming cinnamon, espresso, and cracked black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Bitter chocolate and cracked black pepper spice with salty nuttiness, woody notes and vanilla.
