The first (October 2012) release of a new single malt Indian whisky named after owner Paul John (also the Chairman of Kumarakom Late Resort, Kerala, India). It is made from non-peated Indian malted barley, doubled distilled in traditional copper pot stills and aged in first fill ex-bourbon casks.

Appearance:

(cask No. #P1-161) Clear, deep golden.

Aroma:

Milk chocolate maltyness bursts forth with vanilla and pain au chocola. Whiffs of orange marmalade emerge.

Taste:

Butterscotch, tobacco, chocolate and orange zest with smoothing linseed oil and subtle spice.

Aftertaste:

Spiced chocolate and butterscotch. A sweet, easy drinking dessert malt.
