Beavertown is the old Cockney name for the historic De Beauvoir area in Victorian London, known for its local breweries and ale houses. Their Smoked Porter is apparently inspired by the Industrial Revolution and the Steam Train, as porter was an everyday beverage for the working-class.

Appearance:

Opaque ebony with a thin beige head.

Aroma:

Still smoking burnt toast with cacao, liquorice and faint jasmine tea.

Taste:

Very slightly sweet charcoal burnt toast with faint smoky bacon crisps, beef jerky and sweet black liquorice.

Aftertaste:

Lingering charcoal, bitter chocolate and liquorice.
