Dobbel Dose or Dobbel Dram is a Norwegian double IPA brewed with European style hops rather than the more usual U.S. hops. Brewed with Marris Otter, wheat and Crystal malts, it is also heavily dry hopped.

Appearance:

(batch 434, best before 16-Dec-14) Cloudy, dark amber with medium off-white head and some lacing.

Aroma:

Bready malts, honeycomb and dried fruit with orange zest and grassy hops.

Taste:

Dry, slightly burnt and toasty with muscular piney hops tamed by sweet malt and dried fruit.

Aftertaste:

Spruce needle and cut grass hop bitterness with subtle lemon.
