Porter’s origins date back to 18th century London and fittingly Fuller’s is continue to brew this regarded Porter in the city using a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts with Fuggles hops.

Appearance:

(sample best before 28-Nov-14) Almost opaque, deep brown with quickly fading tan head leaving moderate lacing.

Aroma:

Earthy coal dust, crispy baguette crust and chocolate with liquorice and blackstrap molasses.

Taste:

Burnt toast, liquorice, chocolate and mocha coffee.

Aftertaste:

Lingering smoky chocolate, espresso coffee and molasses.
