Named Old Scout due to this bourbon being blended from whiskies 'scouted out' and purchased from third-party distilleries. Made from a high rye mashbill of 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malt and aged seven years in new American oak barrels, Old Scout is bottled without chill-filtration.

Appearance:

Clear, deep burnished coppery amber.

Aroma:

Pungent rye spice with clove, cinnamon and freshly sawn oak with salted butter, spiced apple, maple syrup, pencil shavings and cigar box.

Taste:

Powerful spicy rye. Eucalyptus, cinnamon and clove spiced dry oak with rolling tobacco and salty caramel.

Aftertaste:

Salty caramel, cinnamon spice, hot chilli and toasted oak.
