So named due to its bottle being shaped and decorated to resemble shrunken head. Called a Tsantsa, these severed human heads where prepared by removing the brain and inners from the back of the neck by tribes in the Amazon rain forest. The rum itself is made in Veracruz, Mexico and is aged 6 years.

Appearance:

Clear, pale to mid amber.

Aroma:

Butterscotch, caramel and pencil shavings with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Taste:

Slightly smoky mezcal-like, dry oak resin, maple wood with dried apricot, cloves tar and nutmeg.

Aftertaste:

Slight smoky oak and faint tar and spicy black pepper.
