Launched in 1998, this "organic" Russian vodka is named after and uses water from Lake Baikal, the largest freshwater lake in the world. The water used is pumped from a depth of 500 meters.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

White and black pepper. Faint burnt toast.

Taste:

Slight initial sweetness (added sweetener suspected) is quickly balanced by cracked black pepper dry heat.

Aftertaste:

Cracked black pepper heat.
