Review and Tasting

Sampled on 11/07/2016

Appearance:

(sample can BB 06/Nov/16) Chill haze, deep orange amber with retentive ivory white head and very light lacing.

Aroma:

Grassy, pine and grapefruit zest, hot-cross-bun maltiness and caramel.

Taste:

Medium-bodied. Assertive pine and grapefruit hops with underlying light malt, light tropical fruit (passion fruit and mango) and faint floral notes.

Aftertaste:

Lingering moderately bitter pine and citrusy hops.

Overall:

This American pale ale is on the bitter side with accompanying citrus and pine hop flavours, along with some attractive topical fruit.
