First released in June 2015 as a limited edition of 1,000 bottles, Chase Eureka Citrus Gin is based on Naked Chase apple vodka infused with 11 botanicals and redistilled in a pot still using a vapour infusion chamber.

The botanicals used include: juniper, Eureka lemon, lime, Valencian orange, pink grapefruit, elderflower, liquorice and bitter almond.

Appearance:

(sample ‘First Batch’ bottle No. 891 of 1,000) Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Pungent, fresh and zesty with lime and orange, pink grapefruit and orange blossom. Very subdued piney juniper with faint thyme.

Taste:

Creamy zesty citrus with eucalyptus, pronounced lime and pink grapefruit. Faint liquorice. Enlivened by black pepper and cardamom spice.

Aftertaste:

Zesty citrus finish with eucalyptus and piney juniper more evident.

Overall:

As the name and label promises this is an incredibly citrusy gin. It is also superbly clean with mild juniper being more eucalyptus than Christmas tree.
