Appearance:
(sample Lot. CF SLR-126/128) Clear, very faint straw yellow tinge.
Aroma:
Burnt oatcakes, floral (honeysuckle) and pink grapefruit zest. Dried and smoked meaty notes.
Taste:
Citrus zest, minerally with salty smoked dry oak notes. Very faint nutty bourbon richness.
Aftertaste:
Salty, smoky bacon and lightly woody finish.
Overall:
Smoky bacon, chalky mineralality, sea salt and spicy oak. A tad overly salty perhaps.
