This VSOP cognac is blended from eaux-de-vie aged in a cask for at least four years in the Cabanne family’s traditional cellars bordering the River Charente.

In 2015 it was awarded Outstanding Silver at the IWSC Awards.

Appearance:

Clear, mid-golden amber.

Aroma:

Very aromatic with dried fruit, gingerbread, red apple skin, prune, cinnamon and faint floral aromas.

Taste:

Reassuringly dry with blackened fruitcake, toasted almond, honey and cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Biscuity notes emerge with burnt fruitcake, tobacco leaf and crème brûlée.

Overall:

Burnt fruitcake with tobacco leaf toasted almond, honey and cinnamon spice.
