Appearance:
Clear, bright emerald green.
Aroma:
Pungent, clean and fresh. Fennel, coriander, anise and liquorice. Strong peppermint aromas emerge with water.
Taste:
Intensely flavoured with strong peppermint flavours resembling Tic Tac, fennel, coriander, anise, liquorice and herbal complexity.
Aftertaste:
Long finish with aniseed, liquorice and minty freshness.
Overall:
This competitively priced absinthe may lack the alcohol punch generally associated with the spirit but it doesn't lack complexity and is a superbly clean spirit.
