The result of a collaboration between Warwickshire’s Purity Brewing and English cider producer Westons, Pure Hopped is a cider made with a 100% fresh apple juice from Herefordshire and Target hops from Stocks Farm in Worcestershire.

Appearance:

(sample can BBE Aug/17) Cloudy, pale golden amber.

Aroma:

Fresh apples with faint pear, zesty citrus and yeasty lemon sherbet.

Taste:

Dry tart apple and hints of ripe pear, white grapefruit and candied lemon zest.

Aftertaste:

Cleansing dry apple finish.

Overall:

A cider for IPA beer drinkers - dry and citrusy tart apple with faint notes of pear. Refreshingly different.
