Appearance:

(sample bottle BB 08/Nov/17) Opaque, deep brown/ black with retentive beige head and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Chocolate, liquorice and mocha coffee with light spice and dark fruit esters.

Taste:

Full-bodied and dry. Liquorice, malty molasses, chocolate, caramel and roasted malt. Strong carbonation.

Aftertaste:

Roasted/lightly burnt malt, liquorice and mocha coffee. Faintly smoky.

Overall:

Chocolate and liquorice dominates this festive porter.
