Launched in 2014 and marketed as being low in calories, sugar and gluten, according to the back label, this lager was “inspired by the desert, Dune Surfer is a revitalising fusion of premium lager, natural acai and goji berries, yuzu fruit, herbs and minerals.

“Dune Surfer is a full bodied 2% alcohol beer for active life balance.”

Appearance:

(sample best before end Mar/15) Clear, golden amber with no head.

Aroma:

Being generous: Aacai, goji berries and yuzu fruit. Being less generous: reminiscent of baby bath.

Taste:

Bland with exotic fruit – see above, with a soapiness – again see above.

Aftertaste:

Bland.
