Review and Tasting

Sampled on 28/09/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before Jul/17, Padova) Clear, coppery golden amber with thin 0ff-white head.

Aroma:

Light bready malt, caramel/brown sugar, lemon and faint black pepper.

Taste:

Light to medium-bodied with high carbonation. Faintly sweet, caramel, brown bread and grassy hops.

Aftertaste:

Bready grassy finish.

Overall:

There’s a distinctive sweet caramel breadiness to this beer that millions of Italians have acquired – it’s the country’s best-selling beer. Best enjoyed ice cold.
