Review and Tasting

Sampled on 12/12/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before 31/Jul/18) Crystal clear with rising bubbles from carbonation.

Aroma:

Pungent fresh cucumber and vegetal aroma.

Taste:

Cucumber is present but not as pronounced as nose might suggest. Good balance of sweetness, bitter quinine and carbonated bite.

Aftertaste:

Fades with sweet cucumber, balanced by bitter carbonation and quinine.

Overall:

This tonic adds a delicate hint of cucumber to a G&T and does not overly dominate the drink. It also works well as a cocktail ingredient and is very refreshing when enjoyed on its own over ice.
