Review and Tasting

Sampled on 31/10/2020

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Cracked black pepper and piney juniper with faint zesty orange.

Taste:

Clean crisp piney juniper forward with pleasant nutty dried mushroom-like angelica root, zesty citrus freshness, liquorice, and leafier notes – we presume from meadowsweet.

Aftertaste:

Cracked black pepper spice, zesty lemon and piney juniper.

Overall:

The label promises a "Classic Gin" and indeed this a classically juniper-forward gin with a generous 46%alc./vol., zesty lemon, liquorice, and salad leaf notes.
