Clear, mid-deep coppery amber.
Caramel, banana bread, toasted cereal and cherry pie with light peppery spice.
Medium to full-bodied. Toasty nutty cereal, toasted brown bread, banana chips, oak, charcoal and just enough peppery spice.
Long dry toasty oak finish with pleasing nuttiness, vanilla, charcoal, and a touch of spice.
A high rye mashbill buts a bit more backbone and a touch more spice into this whiskey which is still recognisably part of the Jack family. A more muscular Daniel's cousin if you like, yet mellow compared to many other rye whiskies.
