Review and Tasting

Sampled on 10/11/2019

Appearance:

Clear, mid-deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Pungent, blackened banana and banoffee pie.

Taste:

Black tea, overripe banana, banoffee pie and light cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Banoffee pie dusted with cinnamon.

Overall:

So pungent and flavoursome that it's almost as flamboyant as its creator, Gerry Calabrese. This 'rum' may not be sophisticated, but then neither is banoffee pie and it's hard not to like that. However, just for the record, I still hate Hoxton Gin.
