This 1978 vintage single Lowland malt scotch whisky release was aged for 30 years in an ex-bourbon cask which yielded 480 bottles.

A subtle nose with hints of apricot, eucalyptus, citrus (lemon). Add a splash of water and the citrus and eucalyptus notes explode.

Taste:

The light palate, especially considering the age, is well balanced with sweet sherry notes melding well with the wood.
