Expression No. 5 in the Coastal Stone Element Series, this Australian single malt whisky was matured in ex-port/tawny casks from Seppeltsfield filled in Manly Spirits' first year of distilling at their Northern Beaches distillery.

Bottled at 58% alc./vol. in a bespoke sculptured glass bottle and finished with a stopper made from Sydney sandstone.

Appearance:

Clear, deep coppery amber.

Aroma:

Caramel and toffee with red apple, candle wax, and cinnamon.

Taste:

Sweet entry to a huge palate. Vinious oloroso sherry-like notes with toasty cinnamon-spiced oak, dry tannins, caramel and red berry fruit.

Aftertaste:

Oloroso sherry and cinnamon-spiced oak with a slight smokiness.

Overall:

Exuberant and rumbustious, yet refined, almost brandy-like and delicious. A very generous "new world whisky."
