Appearance:

Clear, bright golden yellow.

Aroma:

Restrained herbal scents with gentian, génépi and zesty citrus.

Taste:

Bittersweet with gentian, wormwood, saffron, mint and orange zest.

Aftertaste:

Long lingering herbal bitterness.

Overall:

An aperitivo with a colour that befits the Strega name. A valuable addition to the many bittersweet red aperitifs that have long been a staple in cocktails and mixed drinks.
