A seasonal wheat beer brewed from November to February. The snow-covered pine trees on the label are a reference to this beer's name which literally translates as 'snow-white'. Slightly darker in colour and more alcoholic than classic Erdinger Weissbier.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 05/09/2011

Appearance:

Clear, orange amber with a thick white head.

Aroma:

Wheaty, breakfast cereal nose with a whiff of greenness, pine forest.

Taste:

As seasonal winter beers go this a tad on the dull side with a subdued but pleasant wheaty palate made crisper by dry piney flavours and a slight hint of spice.

Aftertaste:

Evergreen trend continues of the refreshingly slightly bitter finish.
