This limited edition XO is made using eaux-de-vie distilled exclusively from wine originating in Cognac’s Grande Champagne region. The youngest eau-de-vie in the blend is matured for at least six years in the Cabanne family’s traditional cellars bordering the River Charente.

Appearance:

Clear, mid-golden amber.

Aroma:

Dried apricot and mango, honeysuckle blossom, chocolate, cedarwood and cinnamon.

Taste:

Topical fruit – particularly mango with well-integrated toasty oak, toasted almond and spice with faint floral notes.

Aftertaste:

Dry toasty finish with blackened fruitcake and lingering spice.

Overall:

Tropical fruit, particularly mango heavily influences the well-integrated nose and palate. The finish turns drier with blackened fruitcake and light spice.
