Review and Tasting

Sampled on 26/10/2013

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Cherry wood, toasty oak and old wardrobe lifted by stewed plum, raisins, linseed oil and nubuck leather.

Taste:

Initial fruity honey sweetness is quickly countered by dry spicy buttery oak to create an elderly cognac-like but sprightly palate with some serious Glaswegian attitude and spice.

Aftertaste:

Very long. Old wardrobe, vanilla and spice. Dries as it fades.
