The Monin Cup is an international bartending competition aimed at young bartenders and bartending students. This could be your chance to compete locally, regionally, and internationally.
Calling North American bartenders
The 2026 theme is "Timeless Twists" and to enter, you are challenged to:
- Draw inspiration from classic cocktails, forgotten flavours, and traditional techniques.
- Reinterpret them using modern ingredients, techniques, presentation, or storytelling.
- Create an original cocktail using Monin products.

To enter, you must be:
- A professional bartender or bartending-school student.
- 27 years old or younger but of legal drinking age.
- Able to present your cocktail in English.
How the competition works
The competition has three stages:
- National/Semi Finals
January to July 2026
Competitors submit their original cocktail to be judged by a panel of beverage experts. The best entries from each region will be invited to compete in the Regional Finals. - Regional Finals
Finalists will be invited to present their cocktail live to a panel of judges, showcasing their technical skill and creative vision.
Mexico: 14 July 2026 in Mexico City
Canada: 30 July 2026 in Toronto, Ontario
U.S. and Puerto Rico: 11 August 2026 in Tampa, Florida.
Three finalists will earn their place at the global final in Paris. - International Finale in Paris, France
8 & 9 December 2026
The best competitors worldwide meet to compete for the title.
Award Packages
Semi-final participants will receive prize packages and a cash award in recognition of their performance.
At the International Finale, winners will receive €5,000 for first place, €3,000 for second, and €2,000 for third.
