Not just salty water but saline solution made with Maldon natural sea salt blended with spring water and then filtered prior to bottling and hand-labeling. Add two to four drops to season a cocktail using the pipette dropper incorporated into the bottle's screwtop.

NaCl is the chemical formula for Sodium Chloride, commonly known as salt, representing a 1:1 ratio of sodium and chloride ions. It makes an appropriate label for our saline solution, but as the Malden sea salt we use also contains other chemical salts, our solution is quite as simple as NaCl.

Folk have asked what ratio of water to salt Bob uses to make our saline solution, but, as with our bitters, that's Bob's secret.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 01/01/2024

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Neutral.

Taste:

Very salty!

Aftertaste:

Long lingering saltiness.

Overall:

Two to four drops season a cocktail and in place of a half pinch of salt. The already dissolved solution is more accurate, so it aids in serving consistent cocktails. Images show both bottle sizes, 25ml and 100ml.
