Winning cocktail: Maximilian Affair
40ml Patrón Silver
20ml Mandarine Napoleon
30ml Homemade lime shrub (sherry vinegar, lime zest, salt and sugar)
15ml Homemade red beet syrup (red beet juice and sugar)
2 dashes of cilantro-lime bitters
Orange wheel for garnish
Fresh fennel for garnish
Lime wedge coated in red beet syrup and sugar for garnish
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
Shake and strain into a chilled tumbler glass with ice cubes.
Garnish with a straw, dried orange wheel, fresh fennel and a lime wedge that has been coated in red beet syrup and sugar.
