Was in the South of France and finally got hold of a Kina Lillet substitute: Kina Karo. Much better than with Lillet Blanc.
Excellent, but will experiment with the ratios though, I suspect I might like it with less gin.
Kina Karo also do a packet of quinine and herbs to make your own, so will have to try that too.
