This is a delicious drink, but the recipe is lacking - when choosing metric, I want grams - not 'spoons'. I know tsp, I know tbsp (and still prefer grams) but what the heck is a 'spoon'?

Great to hear! I did get charged a few weeks ago from a different UK shop, but I guess they just didn't take care of it correctly on their side. Can't wait to get it! :-)

Curious to see if I get an extra VAT addition? Will find out when it arrives :-)

Many thanks for buying the book - crucial income for us! Shipping and ensuring EU VAT is paid have been challenging. Covid surcharges by couriers continue to be an issue.

I happen to have a scale for coffee, but I don't think many people can accurately weigh 5g, I must admit.
Side note: I just saw you ship to Europe again so finally got to order the book version! Stoked!

Few people have a set of scales on their bar and it takes too long to weigh. Hence, I'll stick to volume over mass.

I understand about ml sounding wrong, but if it's mostly sugar, maybe a gram conversion?

To me, 5ml of solid sounds wrong so I'm going to keep it as "1 spoon Powdered sugar" and "5 ml Sugar syrup".

I did quickly glance at that but missed it ?. Thanks! Still, when you recommend using 5ml for a spoon why not use that when choosing metric?

Please click "measures and measuring" under the recipe above for my explanation of what a spoon is.
