Joyce and Raissa de Haas are the entrepreneurial co-founders of Double Dutch Drinks. Inspired by food pairing techniques and the sisters desire to bring new flavours and experimentation into the mixers category these young Dutch twin sisters are making quite an impact with their range of premium tonic waters and mixers.
Originally from the Netherlands, hence the name Double Dutch, they grew up in Belgium and moved to London in 2014 where they set up their business with an initial investment from their university. Following the launch of their first two flavoured mixers Cucumber & Watermelon and Pomegranate & Basil their range has expanded to seven tonic waters and mixers, plus a further seasonal flavour which at the time of writing in Winter 2017 is Spices & Oakwood, designed for spicy gins and dark spirits.
We met up with Joyce and Raissa at the Cabinet Room to hear their story of how they moved from banking to the drinks industry and what plans these ambitious sisters have for Double Dutch in the future. Watch our video above.
