A remake of a 19th-century French liqueur based on distillates of apricot and cherry pit kernels, combined with bitter almonds and other botanicals. This liqueur’s red hue comes from the addition of cochineal.

Clear, deep garnet red.
Marzipan and toasted almond with light white pepper spice and faint raspberry.
Sweet but dried by assertive black pepper spirituous spice. The flavour is reminiscent of spicy marzipan with subtle cherry, pomegranate and raspberry fruitiness.
Long lingering spiced almond.
If you're an amaretto fan then you’ll also like this crème de noyau which is similar but with subtle cherry notes.
