Review

WARNING - Mayahuel is no longer in the very capable hands of Phil Ward so we'd now advise you find another tequila/mezcal bar.

Named after the legendary goddess of the maguey plant, Mayahuel is a cocktail bar which celebrates both mezcal and tequila within an authentic Mexican-styled interior.

Mayahuel is spread over two floors. Rustic booth seating lines the wall opposite the bar on the ground floor with bare brick walls and hand-painted tiles covering the tables and between the ceiling joists. Dark wood and iron adds to the Mexican feel with flickering candles adding to the atmosphere.
