A six-week pop-up (finishing 26 August) within the basement bar at Cato, Casual by Tayēr is the first of a concept series called "What if?" by the Tayēr + Elementary team.
The series "explores and reimagines various themes through the lens of the Tayēr brand" and marks a new chapter for the team following the unexpected temporary closure of their original site due to a fire in the building.
Casual by Tayēr has all the vibrancy, creativity and charm of Tayēr + Elementary in a more intimate setting that connects guests more closely with the hospitable team than even sitting at the bar at Tayēr.
The drinks menu merges the distinctive style of Tayēr with the technique and precision of Elementary, resulting in delicious cocktails. And for those missing the One Sip Martini, rest assured, this has travelled across London with the team.
It's not just the cocktails that have been transported and reimagined; Chef Steven Diaz has created a menu of snacks, skewers, sandwiches and hot plates blending his signature Latin- and Asian-influenced flavours with nostalgic drinking comfort food. The oysters served with Green Lulo Salsa are a must, and don't miss out on the Cubano Sandwich!
