There’s an increasing trend in Lisbon nowadays for restaurants to serve cocktails with meals, and take their cocktail offer seriously. But you don’t need to eat to enjoy a drink at this funked-up taqueria, with its selection of 20-odd mezcals as well as scores of tequilas.

Dining dominates the utilitarian interior with its polished concrete floors, but there’s space to perch at the bar for a bevvy or two. While Margaritas, both mezcal and tequila, feature heavily on the extensive menu, alongside new classics like the Oaxaca Old-Fashioned, there’s plenty of creativity left for in-house mixes. Drinks are balanced and well-made, while the agave-led menu merits further exploration.
