Another stand-out bar along the otherwise mediocre Bath Street, Tiki Bar is a dimly lit basement room, which comes complete with cane chairs, wall-to-wall wicker, hurricane lamps, oh and table football.
The menu is presented as an old rolled-up parchment and boasts a 12-strong list of classic tiki drinks, ranging from a Mai Tai, to a Rum Bongo which will appeal to those with a nostalgic eye for the '80s. Other drinks include a Coconut Grenade, borrowed from London's Mahiki, and the Blingin' Berry Champagne Punch, which serves four or more and comes loaded with a full bottle of Champagne. Drinks are on the sweeter side of balanced.
Upstairs the Kitsch Inn is known for quality Thai food but it also creates the bar snack menu downstairs. A small outdoor area attached to the bar also means the tiki vibe is taken al fresco, and while the Glaswegian weather doesn't really add to the atmosphere but the friendly staff certainly do.
