Blended using 10 year-old Grand Champagne XO cognac and single cask pot still rum from Guyana. This most premium of apricot liqueurs is flavoured with apricots from Turkey and Rouges-Roussillon and Bergeron apricots from France, which are macerated, distilled and blended at De Kuyper's distillery.

The distinctive decanter-style bottle with cork stopper was inspired by the Art Deco bottles of the 1920s.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Unctuous fresh ripe apricot skin and flesh, baked banana and just-cooked apricot pie, with rich apricot blossom and brandy complexity.

Taste:

Well-integrated, powerful fresh ripe apricot, fruity cognac with grappa-like notes and some slight bitterness from the almond stone.

Aftertaste:

More grappa-like flavours, baked banana and ripe apricot. Fades with lingering baked apricot, nutty sherry-like notes and a touch of orange zestiness.
