A blend of pot and column still rums, aged in re-fill bourbon casks at 65% alc./vol for 8 years before being re-blended and re-barrelled into the same casks at bottle strength to continue ageing at the Abbey.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber with bright golden highlights.

Aroma:

Spicy with cinnamon, fresh pine needles, fudge, vanilla and a strong whiff of tobacco.

Taste:

Medium bodied, dried fruity palate with zesty bitter orange, cinnamon, five-spice and linseed oil rubbed nubuck leather.

Aftertaste:

Nutmeg, cinnamon spiced oily leathery finish with enlivening spice.
