As the name suggests Drambuie 15 is based on whisky that is at least 15 years old - unlike original Drambuie, this is exclusively Speyside malt rather than a blend of Scottish grain and single malt whiskies. It also contains less of the brand's proprietary sugar syrup (which includes heather honey).

Appearance:

Clear, straw/pale gold.

Aroma:

Wonderfully light and inviting spicy honeyed whisky nose with warm aromas of saffron and nubuck leather.

Taste:

Silky palate with only just enough sugar. Drambuie signature flavours of cloves, honey, vanilla, fennel seeds, almond, citrus, fruitcake, raisin and orange zest are all there but without being impaired by syrupy honey. Instead sugar and honey sit in harmony with linseed oil and a light malty whisky notes.

Aftertaste:

Recognisably Drambuie honey, saffron and Scotch finish.
