Review and Tasting

Sampled before 1st May 2011

Appearance:

(Vestal 2009 Rye) Crystal clear.

Aroma:

A splash of water helps reveal Vestal's nose - reminiscent of rye bread with a thin slither of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.

Taste:

Characterful palate is clean yet carries considerable raw rye character.

Aftertaste:

Turns little bitter towards the black pepper influenced finish.
