Made with a natural infusion of Arabica and Robusta coffees, Exprè Caffè is used in place of espresso coffee in cocktails, such as an Espresso Martini and can be used to make Americano coffee and desserts, such as a tiramisu.

Exprè Caffè is a natural coffee infusion with no preservatives or added flavourings. The UHT process ensures product stability and a long 12-month shelf life. Once open, refrigerate and use within 5 days.

How Exprè Caffè is made
1. The finest Arabica and Robusta beans are selected and blended in an 80% Arabica to 20% Robusta ratio to achieve the desired depth, richness, and balance of flavour.

2. Next, the beans are roasted to develop a smooth, full-bodied espresso profile. Once roasted and freshly ground, the coffee is processed immediately to preserve its full aroma and flavour.

3. A hot extraction method, closely mirroring traditional bar-style espresso is used, with precise pressure, temperature, and timing. This captures the organoleptic qualities of authentic espresso, while naturally reducing caffeine extraction.

4. The finished espresso is diluted with pure alpine water, and a small percentage of sugar is added for balance.

Appearance:

Opaque, dark brown.

Aroma:

Pungent, freshly dark-roasted coffee.

Taste:

Intense espresso-like coffee with faint notes of chicory and chocolate. Exprè has the faintest hint of sweetness but is dry rather than sweet.

Aftertaste:

Lingering continuation of the palate.

Overall:

When Exprè Caffè is used in place of freshly made espresso coffee in cocktails such as an Espresso Martini, the finished cocktail has a very similar flavour and appearance. Exprè Caffè negates the need for an espresso machine when making such cocktails.
