"Brand" in this Grand Cru 100% Riesling's name refers to the German word for 'fire', a reference to the southerly aspect and high levels of sunshine of the vineyards that overlook the medieval town of Turckheimn in France's Alsace region.

In addition, the grapes are exclusively from delineated Grands Crus - areas of exceptional soils of dry granite, which impart unique characters and style to the wine. Pneumatic pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation, no finings and light filtration all preserve this wine's fruit and aromatic qualities.

Regarded as one of the world's best co-operative producers, Cave de Turckheim lies at the mouth of the Munster Valley and works with 180 partners whose vineyards span the breadth of Alsatian terroir and grape varieties.
