Diplomatico Ambassador was created by Master Blender Tito Cordero from 100 per cent pot still heavy rums aged a minimum of 12 years in ex-bourbon casks and then finished for an additional two years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

This excellent rum not only contains no sweeteners, caramel or other additives, its high strength also means it does not require chill-filtration. This ensures that fatty acids which contribute to the mouthfeel and flavour are not removed during the filtration process.

Appearance:

Clear, chestnut brown.

Aroma:

Hay, port wine, cigar box and dried fruit nose with curry-like aromas.

Taste:

Christmas pudding, sultana and raison palate with curry spice.

Aftertaste:

Spicy pine finish with nutmeg and cinnamon spice.
