Made with a mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% barley, Evan Williams Extra Age is "the world's 2nd best-selling Kentucky Straight Bourbon".
Overstretched stocks struggling to satisfy demand led to the removal of this bourbon's previous 7-year-old age statement. We understand it is now between 5 and 6 years old.
Eponymously named after Evan Williams, who, in 1783, opened Kentucky's first commercial distillery, this bourbon is made just a few blocks from the site where Evan Williams built that distillery.

Clear, mid-golden amber.
Caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit, honey, leathery oak, vanilla and crushed mint leaves.
Buttery leather, vanilla, burnt brown sugar and maple with faintly smoky dry oak and a hint of chocolate orange.
Faintly smoky pencil shavings, brown sugar and cinnamon.
Buttery and leathery with brown sugar, delicately smoky charcoal and light enlivening spice. At 43% alc./vol., Evan Williams Black Label is an excellent value-for-money bourbon.
