Norse Code Hel Above is a coffee liqueur made in Yorkshire, England, using speciality-grade coffee, employing a proprietary cold-filter brewing process.
Norse Code Hel Above is an artisanal liqueur produced in small batches by Gordon Howell, the UK Brewers Cup Champion, UK Coffee in Good Spirits Champion, and World CIGS 3rd place and World Brewers Cup finalist. When making his liqueur, Gordon seeks to prioritise the flavour of freshly roasted coffee over sweetness.

Slight haze, deep chocolate brown.
Dark chocolate, coffee, freshly roasted cocoa nibs, vanilla and caramel. (Subdued when compared to the more toasty roasted bean notes of our control coffee liqueur.)
Pleasing light roast coffee with layers of dark cacao, caramel and vanilla fudge with gentle acidity.
Long chocolaty finish with lingering cacao.
Mellow and subdued when compared to other, more assertive coffee liqueurs. While Norse Code Hel may not be the right choice for your cocktails, it is an easy-drinking, flavoursome standalone liqueur. Like comparing a Starbucks espresso to a Panama Geisha pour-over.
