Martell's 'Very Special' cognac was created in the middle of the 19th century and is one of the most recognisable bottles in the world. It is blended from eaux-de-vie, mainly from Fins Bois, a Cognac region noted for its quick maturation so giving this V.S. a f fruity charter.
Martell V.S. is blended from 20 to 30 eaux-de-vie which are typically matured for a little over two years.

Clear, golden amber.
Caramel, vanilla fudge, green grapes, mocha coffee, black tea leaves and dark chocolate. Subtle floral and fruity (pear, apple, apricot and peach) notes.
Fruity and slightly honey sweet with gentle spice (cinnamon most pronounced). Hints of apricot, green grape fruit, vanilla fudge, marzipan and orange zest.
