Review and Tasting

Sampled on 17/10/2026

Appearance:

Clear, pale amber.

Aroma:

Apple cider, baked apple, pear, zesty lime and cinnamon.

Taste:

Dry and clean with baked apple, apple cider and ripe pear with subtle cinnamon and nutmeg spiced toasty oak.

Aftertaste:

A light oak and spice garnish fades to leave lingering apple-cider and lemon oils.

Overall:

With its packaging and "Bad Appel? Good call" strapline, this is a category-awakening modern Calvados that's perfectly suited to cocktails.
