Banks DIH V.X.O. is a blend of 7-8 year old molases based rums aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-sherry butts.

Appearance:

Clear, bright bronze with green tinges.

Aroma:

Bready/hot cross buns, raisiny fruit cake with plum jam, cream-of-soda vanilla and over-ripe banana.

Taste:

Medium bodied and slightly sweet, very fruity, caramel, brandy butter, crème brûlée, dark chocolate, treacle and tinned pineapples.

Aftertaste:

Lingering finish sees the full-on flavour experience continue with Christmas pudding served with rum and raisin ice cream, marmalade and cloves.
